Yuzvendra Chahal was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014.
Over 8 seasons and 113 matches, he became the highest wicket-taker for RCB and earned a place in the Indian national team in 2015, taking 23 wickets to be the leading wicket-taker for the team.
In 2022, he was signed by Rajasthan Royals for ₹6.5 crore, entering the IPL final for the first time, and taking the most wickets (27) to win the Purple Cap. In 2023, he became the highest wicket-taker in IPL history.
Piyush Chawla was a prominent leg-spinner early in his career. At just 15 years old, he represented India U-19 and Uttar Pradesh U-22.
During his debut first-class season, he took 35 wickets and scored 224 runs, helping Uttar Pradesh win the Ranji Trophy. He has also played for the Indian team in Tests against England and South Africa.
Dwayne Bravo has been a standout in the T20 format. He was the first bowler to take 500 T20 wickets. Despite injury setbacks and conflicts with boards, he had a successful career with the West Indies, playing 40 Tests and 164 ODIs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar made his Test debut in 2013, helping India secure victories against Australia and later against England in 2014. He was the leading wicket-taker in the Caribbean series against Sri Lanka, taking 10 wickets.
In 2018, he took 5 wickets against South Africa in a T20I. He won the Purple Cap in 2016 and 2017 in the IPL.

Sunil Narine was a pioneer in the T20 slow-bowling domain, known for his variety of deliveries such as the googly, knuckleball, and carrom ball.
He took 10 wickets during a trial in 2009 and helped West Indies win the World T20 in 2012. Since 2012, Narine has been a key player for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.
R. Ashwin has played for five IPL teams since 2009 and joined Rajasthan Royals in 2022. He is one of the top wicket-takers in IPL history with 181 wickets.
Amit Mishra made his Test debut in 2008, becoming the sixth Indian bowler to take five wickets on debut. Mishra has taken hat-tricks for three different teams in IPL.
He took 18 wickets in the 2013 Champions League, 10 wickets in the 2014 Bangladesh T20 World Cup, and 15 wickets in three Tests against Sri Lanka in 2019.
Lasith Malinga was known for his slow Yorkers, bouncers, and variety of slower balls. In 2007, he became the first bowler to take four wickets in a World Cup match and was a core player for Sri Lanka’s global tournaments from 2007 to 2014.
Malinga has taken 93 wickets in ODIs and 101 wickets in Tests, establishing himself as Sri Lanka’s premier fast bowler. He led Sri Lanka to the World T20 title in 2014.
Jasprit Bumrah was a key player for Mumbai Indians in their five IPL title wins. He joined MI in 2013 and is known for his high pace and precise Yorkers.
He took 20, 19, and 27 wickets in the IPL seasons of 2017, 2019, and 2020 respectively, becoming the highest wicket-taker in three consecutive winning seasons.
Ravindra Jadeja has won 4 IPL titles (1 with RR and 3 with CSK). He is the second-highest wicket-taker for CSK with 132 wickets.
In 2023, he hit a match-winning boundary on the final ball of the final to earn the Player of the Match award. In 2021, he set a record for the highest individual score in a single IPL match with 36 runs.
