ODI (One Day International) matches are completed in one day. Each team has 50 overs (meaning 50 sets of six legal balls), and each team bowls a total of 300 legal balls. The team with the highest score at the end wins.

It’s a high-level competition between countries. Each game has two parts. The first team bats, and the second team bowls until the batting team finishes 50 overs. After that, the team switch.

The match lasts about 7 to 8 hours, with a 40-minute lunch break. If the match ends in a tie after 50 overs, a “Super Over” or “Super Bowl” will be used to determine the winner.

The two teams will take turns batting to score the highest possible total.
