What is Twenty20 cricket？
T20, also known as Twenty20, refers to each team playing only 20 overs. Each match takes about 3.5 hours. This format is very popular nowadays because of its quick results.
Lots of famous cricket tournaments around the world use the T20 format, like the IPL, T20 World Cup, and Bilateral T20I Series, etc.
After the 2002 Benson & Hedges Cup, the ECB wanted to introduce a cricket format with a shorter duration, the one that could produce a result in a single day, in order to attract more fans
At that time, ECB’s marketing manager, Stuart Robertson, suggested implementing a limit of 20 overs per team, and this proposal was adopted the following year.

T20 Format & Rules explanation
In T20, two teams compete against each other, with each team consisting of 11 players (including batsmen, bowlers, and fielders). The match has 2 innings, with each team playing 20 overs.
Each over consists of 6 legal balls. If all 10 batsmen are out, the teams will switch between batting and fielding.
The T20 format only allows for one 10-minute break between innings. Each team must complete their 20 overs within 85 minutes, and exceeding this time will result in additional penalties.
Super Over will be played once the game ends in a tie. Each team will face one over (6 balls), and the team with the higher score will be declared the winner.
